This is the song that would become half of the EBT song “The Night”. What happen was that I wrote this song and the verse was catchy and Kent had a great funky chorus bass hook, so they combined the two and luckily they were in the same key and it just worked out.
Watch yourself was an experiment where Kent and I tried to write a song in an hour and just force themselves to make questions while writing and tracking. This resulted in great spontaneity and experimentation in the track, but it didn’t feel like a LiO song…this is basically the moment EBT was born.
