Love in October formed in the summer of 2006 in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the murky practice spaces of City Sound. Over the years we wrote songs, released albums, toured the US, and made some killer music videos. In 2009 the brothers Widman moved to Chicago where LiO continued actively until late 2010 when they transitioned into Eight Bit Tiger. This is a collection of rare demos and unreleased songs from 2007-2010.

One of the strongest characteristics of LiO was our work ethic. It was common that we would write songs in practice and record them with a little portable recorder to listen back for later evaluation. Because of this, 100s of songs/b-sides ended up in the LiO vaults. It is our hope that you will get some insight into how the band created music, developed our sound, and functioned as a unit by listening to these songs and reading the commentary. We hope you enjoy the trip and thank you for the ride.
